Okay, so the title could use some work. I just thought the idea of them exposing criminals and the fact that one of them was named Stark could be funny. :|

- →I want a television series about a pair of retired con artists who get into the habit of solving cases for the police for fun and profit.

Synopsis →
- "Todd Stark and Kenneth Stirling used to be the best in the business... until they decided the business was getting old and they retired to live in the busy city of Chicago. What they didn't expect was Chicago being even more boring than the con business. When they stumble upon a murder mystery and a pair of the least judgmental detectives in the world that decide to let them help 'expose' criminals, their lives get a little more exciting. Throw in a waitress, her shady boss, an old apprentice and old enemies cropping up and you've got a situation that is anything but the tediousness that the pair were trying to get away from."
Opening Theme →
- Born to be Wild - Steppenwolf
Character Bios →

todd stark
One half of the infamous Stark and Sterling duo. Often playing the 'bad cop' in their schemes, Todd can come off as rough and mean at times.

kenneth stirling
The other half of the Stark and Sterling duo. More quiet and sensitive than Todd, Kenneth is usually the ones who comes up with the on the fly plans.

amy coffield
The cool, level headed detective with a slightly shady past of her own that lets Todd and Kenneth in on the mysteries.

cole wilkins
Amy's partner on the force. A complete nerd and a detective genius with his own issues, he wins Todd and Kenneth's respect when he starts noticing details they missed.

graham kerr
The show's main antagonist and someone who, despite his young age, goes way back with Todd and Kenneth.

noelani smith
The Hawaiian waitress at Todd and Kenneth's favorite diner that seems to get mixed up in her fair share of problems.

makaio smith
Noelani's little brother, this wannabe artist has problems of his own. Not to mention a knack for getting mixed up in things he shouldn't be mixed up in.

heather marks
Todd and Kenneth's hacker friend from their conning days. If there's any classified dirt on someone, she can find it. She doesn't mention it, but it seems she's got her own history with Hal Poole.

annaliese stark
Todd's younger sister and a graphics design major at the Art Institute of Chicago. She's no stranger to the con game and likes to help out where the duo have some trouble.

hal poole
Graham's right hand man and confidant. He may seem like a nice guy, but he's got a significant edge to him.

roxie hahn
Graham's girlfriend and ear in the seedier parts of Chicago, she's a touch, sexy chick that no one wants to get involved with. Except maybe Kenneth.

on 2010-02-11 02:05 am (UTC)Give me a comedy sci-fi series about two guys from the future that land in the lap of a teenager. And they get everything about modern-day culture wrong, much to the teen's embarrassment.
