THE CHARACTER ASSOCIATION MEME

Having a brief quasi-theological discussion with neutraltwin last night has made me want to crack open my philosophy books again. I never thought I'd actually want to read Ethics again, but now I'm like... okay. How much brain power do I have today? Am I up for digesting a little bit of Aristotle? (Which I wasn't. |D I compromised and read Chesterton instead. Orthodoxy's preface will forever make me laugh.) So now I'm just in such a reflective and pensive mood. I love it.


... now would probably be a good time to get some writing done.

Aristotle... Yeah. We, uh, read a bit of him in Ethics. I wasn't such a fan. :/ Machiavelli and Kant on the other hand... Love those guys. Don't necessarily agree with them, but they're fun nonetheless.

Aristotle is the only one I actually have copies of. And he's close to my heart since he's the first big philosopher I ever read.

And Machiavelli just makes me want to go kick people.

Aaah. We read... Plato first? I think... Whichever one came before the other. Didn't really like any of that group. Kind of boring.
